Walker's Wisdom?

I just read this article posted over on Sandi Glahn's blog that I had to share. It is an article written by Rebecca Walker, daughter of feminist author Alice Walker (The Color Purple), who shares the devastating effects of her mother's radical feminist worldview.

I've been reading the book of Titus, written by Paul who urges Titus to teach sound doctrine so that people may be led by the truth that leads to godliness. I believe we women have to be so very careful who and what we allow to 'teach' us...

Check out the article & let me know what your thoughts are. In the meantime, let us remember that fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom...

That was a very powerful story written by Rebecca Walker. Some how I can relate to her situation. The fact that a mothers love is very important to her child. If you fail to show love to your own, they will go out and find it somewhere else. Its like the way God loves us, no matter what decisions we make or how badly we mess up. He doesn't throw us away. He's always there to say my child I still love you. I will never leave you nor forsake you. I think we should always look at the wisdom that God gave in his word and apply it to our everyday life. I think Rebecca is right the joys of a child is wonderful. I think a child is one of the greatest gift God can give to a person. Thanks Lyn z.
